Country Spirit Dance Society was formed on April 1997
through the merger of Calgary's two largest Country Western dance clubs Country Cuz' It's Fun and Spirit Of The West. These two clubs joined forces with one common goal in mind. " To Promote Country Western Dance and Western Hospitality across Southern Alberta " Our club was incorporated as a Non-Profit Society in the Province of Alberta in March of 1989, shortly after its
conception as a western performance group for the opening ceremonies at the '88 Winter Olympics. This club has been
built on a solid foundation of clearly defined goals and a high level of professionalism which has proven successful
as we are Alberta's surviving traditional western dancers. |
